Arranged Employment: If candidates have full-time job offer for an occupation that is categorized under National Occupation Classification (NOC) skill type 0, A or B, then they can get 10 points

Adaptability: Candidate can get a maximum of 10 points under this category in case their spouse or common-law partner that is accompanying them to Canada:

Candidate’s past work in Canada: Minimum of one year of full-time work experience in Canada:

  • In a job listed in Skill Type 0 or Skill type A or B of NOC, and
  • With  a valid work permit or while authorized to work in Canada

For express entry candidates registered under CEC category, they are also required to meet the following requirements:

  • Must have a minimum of 12 months of Canadian work experience in a skilled occupation categorized under NOC skill level 0, A, or B.
  • Meet the minimum language requirements:
    • You need to score CLB level 7 for NOC Skill level 0 or A
    • A score of CLB level 5 is required for NOC Skill level B
    • The test result must be admissible in Canada.
