What is the Saskatchewan Express Entry Program?

  • The candidate needs to score a minimum of 60 points out of 100 in the SINP point assessment grid.

  • The candidate must have language test results that meet the minimum requirements of the Express Entry Program i.e. 6 per band in IELTS.

  • The candidate may be required to provide proof of Professional Status or proof of eligibility for Licensure.

What is an International Skilled Worker Expression of Interest (EOI)?

If the candidate is eligible for the Saskatchewan Express Entry stream or Occupation in–demand stream, needs to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI). For the EOI process, you have to fill up an online form based on your credentials and qualifications. After submission of your EOI, it will be submitted into the SINP EOI pool. It is a free-charge process. You will get points based on your credentials and with the points, you will be ranked in the EOI pool. If you rank high, you will get an invitation through a regular invitation process.

How to apply for Saskatchewan Express Entry?

The first step of the Saskatchewan Express Entry Program is the submission of an EOI. If you fulfill the selection criteria, then you will get an invitation to submit another application. The probability of getting an invitation will depend on your total score. If your score will high, you will be easily invited. Then you will be eligible to apply for provincial nomination. If you will get the provincial nomination, you will be awarded 600 CRS points.

  • The candidate needs to show proof of funds for settlement.
  • Your post-secondary education, training, or apprenticeship is compulsory which is comparable with the Canadian Education system

  • The candidate’s work experience must be related to his or her occupation and education.
  • The candidate needs to show proof of professional status.If the candidate meets all the criteria, then the nomination of the province will be successfully granted.
